STREETS OF LAGRANGE
full presentation of the exhibition and rental conditions
1 / 4

Anniversary retrospective exhibition of Vladimir Lagrange, an author whose work became the personification of the "thaw" 60s. Lagrange's works have become recognized classics of art, while remaining in consonance with what was happening with photography in the world – the heyday of the humanistic trend, the activities of the young photographic agency Magnum.

The Still Art Foundation, together with the Lumiere Gallery, have been working with the Lagrange archive for almost 15 years. More than a hundred works by the author, starting from the 60s and ending with the 90s, will allow the viewer to catch changes in the moods of consecutive periods of history.

The retrospective will show both classic, familiar to everyone shots - "Granny" (1961), "Goalkeeper" (1961), "Doves of the World" (1962), "Young Ballerinas" (1962) - and lesser-known works. The exhibition covered about forty years of Lagrange's work and reflected the author's development, the influence of time on his style, presentation and themes.
