The third author's monograph from the joint publishing program of the Still Art Foundation and the Lumiere Gallery, dedicated to renowned Soviet photographers. The album includes famous works by a true pioneer of Russian avant-garde photography Alexander Rodchenko from the collection of the Still Art Foundation. The book consists of two parts of the portfolio of the museum series of the 1920s-1930s: "Classics" - the famous avant-garde photo experiments of the photographer and "Portraits" - photographs of the family and inner circle, including Vladimir Mayakovsky, Lilya Brik, Varvara Stepanova, Osip Brik, Lyubov Popova, Lev Kuleshov and others. The introductory words for the book were written by art historian and grandson of Alexander Rodchenko Alexander Lavrentiev, art historian and great-granddaughter of Rodchenko Yekaterina Lavrentieva, collector and founder of the Still Art Foundation Elena Karisalova, and curator of the Still Art Foundation collection and founder of the Lumiere gallery Natalia Grigoryeva-Litvinskaya. The design of the book was developed by graphic designer Evgeny Korneev.
