The monograph by Naum Granovsky consists of seven sections devoted to different periods of the author's work from the 1920s to the 1980s. The album consists of 250 photographs, including not only the reference works of the author, but also rare, less well-known shots. During his lifetime, Granovsky was called the “Moscow chronicler” and was given the status of main architectural photographer of the USSR. Throughout his work, Moscow remained the main subject for Granovsky. We can trace how the town image changed in the 20th century. This is the first book published by the Still Art Foundation and the Lumiere Gallery as part of a joint regional project and was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the author. The preface for the book was prepared by Elizaveta Likhacheva, director of the Shchusev State Museum of Architecture, Elena Karisalova, collector and founder of the Still Art Foundation, and Natalia Grigoryeva-Litvinskaya, collection curator of the Still Art Foundation and founder of the Lumiere Gallery. The design of the book was developed by graphic designer Evgeny Korneev.
